Glad I took ocean villa, it was silent and spotless.

I had such high expectations for this place, but alas, the room experience was clouded by a lack of cleanliness. How can i feel comfortable when i hear my neighbors like they're in the room with me? Can't the staff understand the basics of customer service? I almost thought of giving good review, but just couldn't.

Young and hip looking hotel.
Distance to the main beach area in Chaweng is about 1.5km. Beach area is not the best - can be rocky and dirty sometimes.

We had a delightful stay! The villa with a private pool was just fabulous and the beach was lovely. the Wi-Fi was spotty, which made things a bit tricky.

Staff were generally good and genuinely wanted to please. Beach was very close and good quality. Breakfast was very good. Food for dinner and lunch was also good but they should realise that no matter how good it is the restaurant will remain virtually empty when it is double the price drinks and food are double what you pay outside. All the hotels in the area are the same in this respect.
The hotel is good but it needs a tidy up. Part of wood trim was missing in the bathroom, grouting around sink/shower needed attention. Paint peeling on outside pool. These things take little time/money to fix and look shabby in view of the cost of the stay. They have plenty of staff and I don't understand why they don't have one on constant maintainence. Disappointed at the last minute at check out to have the room checked and told I had to pay for the disposable slippers and one pair of cheap flip flops that I used. These were assumed to be complimentary as they were not on the extra charges list. Having paid about £ 1400 for the stay and then be charged another £10 - 15 for these items which cost pennies put me off going back

The location is perfect for a family getaway with an amazing stretch of beach. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a variety of options, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, especially with our child.
My kids wished for better pool area amenities.

the on beach dinner. it was expensive (4000 baht) but gorgeous and delicious. we had a pool villa and it was amazing. staff very friendly. in a quieter area of chaweng beach, but still only a 5 min taxi to central chaweng
if you like to be close to town then this is not for you

The breakfast was really good, especially for Thailand.
The hotel supposed to be the new one, however, nothing works… you need to smash the doors to get them close, furniture and walls are scratched, to open the balcony door you need to be a bodybuilder, air conditioner going on by itself (the engineers could not find any fault). Clearness… well… we had five dead mosquitoes lying in the bathtub for seven days.
